I'm Alive! I got out yesterday and am staying at the Reitz house till Sunday. Thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers. I really messed up my leg pretty good and have some good metal to prove it. I can't walk on it for 3 months so I'll b crutching it around. Fun Fun!

I was PUMPED with my start so at least thats the last memory i have of the race.

I can't thank all my friends that helped me out enough. I wasn't crying like a girl when we left the track so i knew a lot of people didn't think i was hurt, but I'm use to this getting hurt thing by now. I'll work out in the end. Carey, Shelby, Meghan, Allison, The Medics, and everyone i forgot THANKS!

Good to hear your spirits are high Amber. Listen to those doctors and take it slow. Team WOR wishes you a speedy recovery!

I am also glad to hear you are back up and and atleast cruching it....Give it time and keep the weight off till you heel. Listen to your doctor and I am sure you ill be stradling that bike before you knoiw.

well i guess you could have slipped and fell and got pregnant instead...okay that's not funny I know.

Thank goodness you didn't sustain any critical damage to an artery. For heavens sake woman...heal up. You'll be back on the bike sooner than later.. I'm also counting down the days. It's been about 14 weeks that I haven't ridden, and I have approx 16 more to go maybe less so you're not the only one suffering!! Hang in there!
