Hey guys, I have a 73 ct70 thats bone stock and the carb has been a nightmare since I got it. I bolted one off one of my xr50's onto it and it was way better, even though its too small and underjetted. My question is have any of you used those 'honda' carbs on ebay that come from thailand or wherever? If not, whats a good alternative that'll let me keep the stock air cleaner and all that?
The other option is to tear it right down and get a rebuild kit and get the carb cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, but thats gonna run about the same cost as one of those replacements.
