the cam sprocket on my dohc is elongated to adjust cam timing as you mention, firepower

the take' s12 camshaft improves the pickup of the +R's dramatically (more cash tho)

billy/ i doubt a slinger would fit under the clutch cover being it a slim take' one

a crank mounted clutch may be the answer,

but if your too used to the big strokers fatcaaat, (your 177)
its doubtful you'll get the tak to mimick it,
as its only half the torque output

ps. get the welder out and put some weight back on the tak crank LOL
