if your chain keeps stretching its either a crap chain or you have it adjusted wrong to begin with. When a chain 'stretches' its not the actually stretching the chain, its developing slop around every pin in the chain. So if you have the chain slightly too tight, it will stretch the chain from pulling it too tight when the suspension compresses. To see if you have a worn out chain just take it off and see how much side to side play it has, as well as front to back. (pushing and pulling on the links to see if theres any play) if your chain is worn then go out a buy a good d.i.d.
