depending on what you can afford and whats available in your area choose one type of fuel and stick with it for the life of the motor.
92 is just fine in a stock motor thats what it was designed to run with, i like adding a fuel additive called Hi-Test made my Maxima to 92 fuel, seems to quiet the valve train a bit and spice up the quality of the fuel that has been sitting in the tanks for a while.
For higher compression motors, 13.5:1 ++ run these
As for race fuel, Sunoco 110 leaded is affordable for race fuel, it does a good job of cooling the motor with the leaded additives. Plus is smells good!
The best fuel i vote you can buy is VP U4.2 it is very expensive but the dyno doesnt lie, best results with this fuel for sure, just higher maintenance, u might drain your carb after every use. If they made this fuel as a colonge.... Id wear it
