My Mood: Daring
Re: Best mod to a stock 04 NSR50R?

Yeah both Ray Perez and Reuben Frankenfield ( rub35@aol.com ) can hook up the NSR forks and make them work so much better! After Reuben did the work to mine, I've ran my fastest lap times ever on the track!

Putting a bigger carb on a stock cylinder (we've found out here in Ohio) doesn't work that much better and the lap times prove that. Like NCNSR stated, call Billy Wiese up (great guy and I've done business with him for years now) and have him either bore your stock cylinder or get a Kitaco 63cc kit. Send him your head and have him set match/the squish for the cylinder you are running. His port work is top notch also and really wakes up the bike! Slap a 24mm round slide carb on it, with his pipe, and you'll see HP numbers in the neighborhood of 12HP!
