I had a 24mm flat slide carb on my first NSR when I got it and it worked awsome. It had the stock cylinder ported and the big six petal reed cage installed with the full Arrow exhaust. Do you think that a bigger carb is still a waste even if you open up the reed cage? I don't think anybody mentioned brakes. A braided line is a must.
