Re: Tubeless tires

Newbie to CT70 (actually it's a CT70 clone) and want to run tubeless tires (without tubes) in the bolt together rims. Is this possible? Will air leak out the seam between the two parts of the rim? Can I seal the seam if needed? I would like to avoid tubes if possible.
Also in my Clymer CT70 repair manual it show that the wheel is taken apart (unbolted) to replace the tire. Is this necessary?
Thanks
