Short legs would make it real snug, yup.

67x57, nothing special

I'm sure I'll post up the progress, once I start making some...

Not pounding the snot outta it, it should live. Timing mods, de-comp, reasonable compression all help.

Prolly gonna put a little 114-117 Honda in it though.

Re: CL70 I picked up today

Plan is coming together, for an engine, anyhow. I started putting parts in a box for a 117cc build. 51mm long rod 12v stroker(nearly out of 49.5's), 54x69 Kitaco plated jug, outer rotor CDI setup. Ported e22, of course Unless I can score a clean TRX90 head. Will run the stock trans if it looks OK. Pretty sure it will clear the 6v cases. I have 6v roller and 12v cases too, and an ATC70 4-up, if things look bad.

CT70 pipe looks close. Maybe can run one until I build a bigger bore one to look like the stocker?

Re: CL70 I picked up today

really so does any one custom make 201 cc or is it just a certain part combo? would be bad ass, as long as it can take a little abuse.

Re: CL70 I picked up today

FP, I hate you. That's probably my favorite bike in the whole wide world, and I just missed picking one up a couple months back. It was even the same damn color. If you picked that up in South St. Louis I don't want to hear about it.

Have fun; I look forward to seeing it get firepowered. Does this mean you're not too into getting a Z50R frame for the time being?

Getting the piston is the only hard part. Either a JE custom, or a rod swap.
A 65.5mm one is easier, and a couple mm on the crank would get it over 200, too.

Re: CL70 I picked up today

CT is pretty nice. Good guy to deal with too.

Not from St. Louis Owosso, MI.

Z frame is still a possibility. Mega-Motored Long-N-Low project still in my head. Someplace...

And some cloth-sheathed stuff too. Leaning towards pulling it all out
