Re: CL70 I picked up today

So, the lump in it has been powerwashed sans-a-jug, so it needs to come apart. Like I was gonna leave it alone anyway...

Parts I have on hand:
Stock 6 & 12 v, 49.5 and 51mm cranks
e22 & long Tak manifold for 24mm, BV heads and 26mm short manifold
Boyesen 52.4x69, Kitaco 54x69, TB 54x63, 72cc iron jugs
Pistons for all the combos
CL70 and ATC70 4 speeds

So, 72-95-107-114-117cc?
23/20 or 27/23 head?

Will the billet basket live at high revs with the BVH?
Will I die if I get it up to 75MPH target?

Well, I know I'm gonna die, at some point. I mean from the CL.

Re: CL70 I picked up today

Yeah, that option exists. I put it all in a box under the bench, so I wouldn't be tempted. 192cc, actually

Re: CL70 I picked up today

Original lump:

Brass screws. Cool?

Maybe this is why the kicker didn't work?

4-down, shouldn't be a problem since I have the heel-toe shifter

Disemboweled. Maybe the first daylight in the center cases for 37 years?

Re: CL70 I picked up today

I thought you were taking the sweety out for dinner not making carnage over there?
Glad to see some headway though. I would kinda hate to see you have to notch that sheetmetal.....well maybe not for what you have in it....but the 160 maybe too much for a 37 year old....
