I got an email today from the seller saying that my frame went out today instead of Tuesday like it was supposed to.That tweaks me a bit as I was really hoping to have it tomorrow.I have a lot of work to do so the sooner I get it the better.Oh well, another day I guess. |

I got my frame today YAAAAAH.I'm gonna try to make it over to the DMV on Monday.I will be able to use my 88-99 style seat and tank no problem.Clearly the quality isn't quite what Honda's is,but all I really need is the frame number any way. |

Well I just walked out of the DMV with a plate and a tab.No hassle at all.I have heard of Minnesota kicking the paper work for these Chinese bikes so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Now I have to get the bike built. |

PATMAN- I tried putting my 1998 z50r tank and seat on my frame and it was off about 2". They werent even close to fitting properly when i put them on the frame. What are you doing to fit that tank and seat on your frame? I would like to put them on mine. |

Maybe your frame is a little different than mine?I am using a Clarke plastic tank which gives me more "wiggle room".I made a little bracket to mount the rear of the tank and I'll need to make one for the back of the seat too.You can see in the picture that the tank is a little too far forward.A very small frame mod will fix that right up.If the Fastminis frames weren't so pricey I'd just order one and stamp the Lifan VIN into it.I could just swap head tubes with my Honda frame too I guess.

I handed them the mso's for both and he sat in front of his little computer and typed away. My Lifan MSO is for a motorcycle with a 70cc 5.7hp engine it also has the engine code on the mso and states it is EPA&DOT approved for on road operation. My 2001 panda has an mso that reads it is a Motor driven bike with a 49.5cc engine making 1.98hp hence registered as a moped.
