Just finished building this one for a friend from the ground up (he since backed out of the deal due to lack of funds). 1970 frame, rebuilt 78 forks (new springs and boots), 93 swinger and wheels, New Takagawa shocks, RK gold chain, Chen Shin tires, New 12V wire harness with all new 12V lighting and battery OEM 93 12V reg/rect, brand new GPX140, Lifan exhaust, seat and speedo. All original parts were sandblasted, painted or powdercoated with carbonlook graphics. Everything else is brand new. Mass state titled for road use. Less than 5 miles. This bike will now be for sale if anyones interested contact me (dont post questions here). ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That is a sweet bike FastMC, I have had this exact bike pictured in my imagination for a few weeks now. Too bad the guy on ebay doesn't do the whole carbon grafix set like he did before. |

| Re: Let's See Everyone's CT70 and Dax
Here's my addition. Not quite ready to start working on it yet; I want to get the beater '74 Z in the background running first, but soon, soon... I think this was someone's attempt to make a fake CT70H. It's a '70 CT70-K0 frame with a '70ish CT70H motor, and slant-stripe decals. I was jumping around giggling and high-fiving myself, thinking I'd found a CT70H, when a friend informed me there were no red CT70H models that year. Closer inspection revealed a frame # with no H in it. Our propane delivery guy rescued it from a basement on his delivery route where some guy had lost interest in it 10+ years ago and quit working on it. The propane guy picked it up and then decided instead to focus on his ZX11 and sold it to me for $125. Needs a stator and flywheel but the motor kicks over, shifts and seems to have decent compression. Since the bars are bent, the headpipe's patched badly and it's kind of a pile of mismatched parts, I think I might go restomod on it, rather than all-stock 3-speed KO. Still thinking about it.
