Re: Lets see everyone's Z!

Holy micro-sprocket. How many teeth is that?

That's a clean-looking unit. Very nice work. I may have said this before but if not, I really like the simple paint on what I think of as the 1970s Z50A tank shape.

Re: Lets see everyone's Z!

awsome thread. i just got a few parts in today and ordered more. I am using a mid 70s z with: prociruit pipe, ct70h engine w/tbparts.com 88 cylinder and piston, 79 z50 top clamp, xr 75 swing arm, ct 70 shocks, and some ther little things.

Where can i find those knobby tires at? do they ride ruff with such a agressive tread?

Re: Lets see everyone's Z!

Around jan 1st i will post some pix. Between christmas and my motoshop z order I am getting new fenders, tank decals, seat cover, kitaco carb rotator, kitaco tail light, g-craft tail light bracket, takegawa headlight, and 50 stunt handbrake for my '72 z-50. I still want to order 50 stunt street pegs with derlin sliders and hd peg mount, kitaco swing arm, daytona rear shocks, and daytona tubeless 10" wheels.
I would like to run my 50 stunt stunt pegs on the kitaco swing arm when I get it but it runs axle blocks. Has anyone modded their stunt pegs to fit in a swing arm that uses axle blocks?

Re: Lets see everyone's Z!

Very nice combination of colors. I usually go for the INVERSE color scheme with the black frame and red tank, but that bike looks really good!. Very well done in my opinion.

Could you start a new thread with updated pics and more info on the supercharger?

Re: Lets see everyone's Z!

Man I love seeing the bikes that looked like they were headed for the junkyard, then brought back to life.

Can one of you guys get a before/after thread going?

I'm gonna have to find an old z to restore once I start working again (knee reconstruction surgery).
