Ha ha, I like the Tecumseh lawnmower gas tank...I did the same thing with my '71 when I first got it while I was waiting for my new gas tank to come in!

I see you have a later model carburetor there. Did the early air filter go right on that, or did you have to make an adaptor?

Nice work; that bike's a beauty.

Hello All, First post here. This is my 1979 Z50R. It is a little rough looking, but it runs like a champ.
The darn thing is too much fun to ride to take apart and work on.
Eventually, she'll get a partial restore to undo what the prior owner did with the white paint.

There's a brembo 4 brake caliper installed too. He wasn't fully mounted yet.
Yet to do:
-Honda candy ruby red monkey tank
-Takegawa triangle kit
-takegawa carbon front fender
-steering demper kit
-(maybe i'll polisch the front fork)
-G-craft grabbar
-takegawa blaze taillight is yet installed but not on the picture.

That's nice; another example of what mine would look like if it were restored.

So did the long rear fender only show up on the US-issue K2 bikes, or are you running a K1 rear fender?

Our k2's came with both long and short rear fenders.
