My Mood: | Re: My Belgian History I've got no idea ![]() It's actually pretty sad.. The part that I got to the chrome plater together with my friend's parts have been there for over 8 months now There was a second part (Superhad covers, ignition cover, baseplate of the seat, coolerparts, wheels,...) that I put in for chroming in February, and the chrome plater (the same one who has my other parts that've been there for 8 months) says they'll be done in about 2-3 weeks.. Some weird things going on there ![]() But I'll keep updating here, whenever I get parts |

you know i don't have whole lot of money so i just polish there is this web site called "caswellplating dot com" or something close to that extent that has some great stuff, pretty easy to do as well and it's really cheap and looks good and like chrome. thats just a suggestion to bad all your parts are away.

hmm dry clutch (think i read somewhere ,you have one) the top end looks sweet with the straight finned cylinder as opposed to the v-type just a quick Q ,, when the cases are chromed, the inside of the cases also looks chromed?? is this part of the process? it sure beats hours on end polishing lol ultra-clean motor neals ,cant wait to see it completed what else are you chroming motor wise ? head covers,, clutch cover???,, inlet manifold? |

Hi guys, Clutch is indeed Daytona dry clutch. The inside of the crankcases are "chromed", but when chroming, you need to polish it at the end to get the supershiny effect. And that endpolishing didn't happen on the inside. But it still is smooth as hell Chromed from the engine: - crankcases - Superhead covers - Inlet manifold (Yoshimura) - Air funnel (C.F. Posh) - Ignition cover - Complete clutch cover + parts of the clutch ( Scannen0002.jpg ) In numbers: 17, 18, 22, 12, 25, 1, - Monkey R kickstarter - Takegawa gear lever - Meshguard + dress-up of the cooler - Hose separators - Hose ends Guess that's about it.. |
