Dang it Brad - that could pass for a stock tank! In my world that is the ultimate compliment The bike is amazing. I wish I lived closer to you so I could come and take a look at in person. One word. Wow! |

Yes Nes, did all prep, paint and finish work myself on this one. Used Gregs gun and facilities as his gun is ten billion times better then my harbor freight POS. Thanks Greg im going to have to get a proper gun, sanding blocks and polish nub thingy now. What a difference it is to have the right tools for the job. Quote:
Another thing to point out is that at the second intersection there is a moto cop on the right waiting to enter into traffic, 1:15 in the vid. He got behind us and was there till turned right at 2:40. You noticed I go through a yellow traffic signal at one point, he ran the red to stay with us. Im sure if we were racing around like ass hats he would of stopped us as he was obiously interested in what we were up to just by the size of our bikes. Over the years ive learned to be a good motorist when the law is around. I got a 2 point ticket in my past for some stupid stuff and my insurance sucked for years. There is the right place for going fast and a busy street with businesses on both sides is not it. So yeah, i was hanging back keeping it easy. Seemed like the right thing to do at the time. Quote:
Its actually pretty funny how close to the color my car is. Ill have to take a pic of them next to each other if i ever get around to washing the car. Thanks Adam you have no idea how much i hated the paint that was on there. There was also dents all over that tank from me stuffing it in the back of my hatchback and it bouncing around. The prep prior to the paint was the longest part of the job. Last edited by reynolds_brad; 06-17-2009 at 09:21 AM. | |||
