When you say "didn't need disassembly," you mean to fix the bearing? |
The right side on the countershaft has a poor bearing. They often break, taking the case half out in the process. Sprocket alignment will NOT cause this failure. The fix is a new case half kit, with countershaft, for $110. You may need more gears, if it's been ridden, and surely there would be metal throughout the motor. By "didn't need disassembly", I meant it shoved parts through busted cases so you could see the problem without turning a wrench... There are three with this failure in my shop, right now.
