airboy808 was talking about drilling out the ring on the intake of the stock exhaust.

Re: Klx / Drz Faq

Hello!

hope this is not an out of time topic lol...

I have a 2002 klx green frame and all black engine...
i'd like to hear more about transmission issues
it's that just different ratios than others or there are specific problems with that...

If Takegawas transmission and primary drive doesn't fit?
i can just mount a primary clutch removal spcer?

thank you anyway

Re: Klx / Drz Faq

The tranny's arent the issues on the 02's. They had weak cranks and something else. So when you big bore them they go kaboom. But you can update it. You'd need a 03 or newer crank, clutch, primary gear, auto clutch, and i think that may be it. someoone will add in

Re: Klx / Drz Faq

just my thoughts but i think you should post up a budget build list for people on a budget of 500$ or less assuming they have a bone stock 110.

Re: Klx / Drz Faq

500 budget build:
protaper xr50 bend bars or klx bend-65
BBR long front brake cable-18
TwoBros tall seat-100
tires of your choice-70
folding shifter-20/30
Front and rear springs-150
over the top brake pedal- 70

that is right around 500 bucks and will make ur 110 more adult friendly.

you could buy used parts and get more for your money.
