Actually I have been riding for 20 years. And I know a few things about big bikes. Shows how much you know. Lay off.

Elka is better than the racetech. I live right next to the race tech facility and I had them revalve and rebuild the shock to my weight. The shock sucked, my lower back will never be the same because it was so freakin stiff. It was great on big jumps though, I could never bottom it.

The Race Tech is stiff but I have used mine for over 3 years with no problems.
