HP will vary greatly, depending on head, cam, carb, pipe, compression, timing, and tuning. Kinda like BK, you get it your way
With jetting and timing spot on, you should see 16-22HP, from mild to wild. We don't have any dyno races here in the US, though Every version will have a big, broad torque curve and get around very well.

Terry, what do you think a head with 31 inlet and 29 exhaust valves will do ported by you. 22+ HP range. and maybe bump up to a 30mm carby. with a exhaust that the exhaust tube start at 29 mm and step out to 32mm by the muffler.

Let's get one on the bench, before we try crossing the finish line with it
The 29mm exhaust valve sounds big, for a 31 intake, un-blown.

Fire yours up, yet?

Nope might today, will work on it here in a bit, I had to order new oil lines yesterday, lines I had, the banjos was not right, they had 10mm on one side and 8mm on the other, I need 10mm on both sides. So I can mount dual oil coolers up.

Sorry my mistake 31 and 28 valves. We might look at a 32 and 28

How hard would it be to adapt a Honda 41.4mm crank to work with the import crank driven oil pump and Daytona style clutch cover? Oh, and saddle it with a 4v head and a 67mm bore. : ) 146cc twist'n Gooooooooooooo.

Not too tough, we've had Honda-cranked Xtremes. Bearing spacers (nice anyway, to reduce OD and friction), and a couple other little extra hurdles with the YX/Z architecture. 67mm slug is a bit much for a stock 50 rod, crank and the 23mm big end pin. And, while the B/S ratio seems "modern", the heads available are not really asking for that much bore (combustion chamber and piston crown area losses, slug mass). I think a 60x53 version would still let you work the top-o-the-tach just fine and have better overall power characteristics. But, if you send the money, I can build it

Re: Firepower 192cc "Crate" Motors

I was assuming a longer rod would be required, otherwise I'd use the beefier DrATV 41.4mm crank/rod as a base.

I've wanted to make a short stroke screamer for quite awhile, just don't have the tools/skills for the bulk of it. I'm going to noodle around my spares bins to see just what I've got for viable donor parts...
