Agree...the main reasoning behind my usage of a 63mm crank in the Jialing 120cc base motor was exactly this...I can make TONS of toque in the normal riding RPM range. So while a 160 configured 60/57 with a scut needs to be about 7k to cruise properly with my gearing, my 157 57/63 ran the same gearing 1500rpm slower. The stroker ran out of steam a little earlier, like 9500 compared to about 10000 on the other.

All and all, more power, more torque means lower rpms needed to turn a taller gear ratio. Personally, I prefer a broader lower torque band than the wring it all out motors. And that includes both my dirt and street bikes. Everyone has their preference though.

i did buy that a couple of years ago from swebike here in sweden.
i dont know if its to light for dirtbike use.the flywheel are about the same size as the bigger kitaco kit or the irk from takegawa(zeletra).
so it has more moving mass than those small irk.
it is digital and programable.
to me its perfekt.you can do some cool stuf..
here are a link.

im sorry firepower messing your thread upp.
the fcr can be little harder to tune because they have some extras.
but when you find the right kombination they are great.
use wide band lambda will help a lot.

No worries, Mats
All I have to post up is pics of alumi-lumps with big parts inside, while you add some style to the thread

Confused?? 6 ten year olds??

Aw, shucks...

I'm hoping for 20%, and maybe even adding the female splines for the kick drive gear in to it. That would require basket machining, but should reduce the wobbles.

Not directly. I've heard of guys making the swap, but there's welding and cutting involved. Or maybe it was cutting and welding? Either way, it isn't a bolt-in. I can do some BIG things with a 110 motor, too, if you have one.
