any chance of a "bolt on" oil filter kit for the bikes with oil coolers? I would love an oil filter, but i would be SOL with out lines / hardware to incorporate the filter.

well the oil filter has a 3/8 barb on it so you can run line custom also its a 8mm so you can put 8mm banj to it with a braided hose , but were working on a kit
so you just take one line off your oil cooler and put it on the filter then run a line from the filter to your cooler

Is that front tire mounted blackwardz?

I just noticed they went with steel wheels on these and NO spool hubs....bummer. Why would you use steel wheels on a motard?
I do like the fact they used a 220mm rotor up front atleast.

Given that it's the same tire front and rear, you'll want to flip it for front vs rear. The carcass is built expecting the loading primarily in one direction. The primary loading a front tire sees is under braking. In back it's under drive, hence flipping the tire. I used to run TT91 120/80R12's in front and back, with the front flipped for that reason. You'll actually see arrows noting front vs rear spin on lots of tires meant for either end of the bike.

Thanks Kurlon...I just assumed these were like kart rubber..the grooves displaced water or moisture. I have road raced karts but never bikes.
I will keep this in mind when I mount my next street bike.

There is something to be said for the tread pattern, but not much. : ) Dunlop D205s for example have the tread going the opposite direction in the US compared to Europe. Same tire, same construction, just the tread is applied in reverse in the US as the marketing dept thought it looked better that way.

As long as you've got tread, it'll do it's thing, right up to serious standing water, in which case it'll still do it's thing even backwards 99% of the time.
