these tires did not work for me. way too tall and very little grip. even after I roughed them up. I've never fallen so much. I'm back to the kendas, they work the best so far

I have talked with a few people about this. I just started up at PK this year. Big guy with hockey shin pads on. I ordered a set of the maxis street tire as a suggestion of one of the guys that races indoor in Europe. I should have them by the last practice day. Come up and say hi, Ill let you know how they work. I am running the IRC's right now and they seem alright.

I have the best luck with Heidenaus up front and the sava slick out back..... This is on really slick cold pavement..... But for the money the hmmm I think the model is C-17 from cheng shen works really good as long as you run the lower psi with alot of contact patch to heat them up. I had to screw the tires to the rim to prevent ripping the valve stem off the tube in the rear.....HP baby

you must mean the maxiss m6114. look and sounds good, but not sure a 100/90 would do well on my stock honda rims. they are a little narrow for that big of a tire. I think a 80/90 or 2.75-3.0 gives a better profile. correct me if I'm wrong

I am going to try the 3.5 on a stock wheel with a longer swing arm for clearance. Kyle from 2k runs a 3" and has had good luck with it. So I think the profile would be ok. He has told me that the added height in the rear tire makes turn in a bit quicker and evens the lift that you get from +1 forks and stiffer springs. |

im only seeing the m6114 in 100/90 which is equivalent to almost 4". are you using a different model tire?

The one I have, actually have two, are 3.5x10. I picked them up at bikebandit. If you look closely at the pic you can see its a 3.50x10. Kyle runs the Bridgestone 3 inch.

Thats strange, The drop down only gives option of 100/90. How did they work last week on the new track?

I dint actually run them. Cracked the case out screwing around in my office parking lot, so I had other things to get ready for last sunday. I should have one on the back this week. Hopefully the track will be etched so tractions should not be as big of issue.
