I really like my 14,have two set's of wheel's for it,12/14 and 14/17, and depend's on what i'm doing which wheel set i use.Never tried the LXR 12 so i don't know. The 14 is like having two bike's that rock!

Which wheel set do you like best? I was thinking about a 14/12 for my LXT. More or less gave it to my son for track use, but thinking about putting the lights and plate back on so I can run around sub division again and up into town (legally).

What did the 14/12 wheels cost you? Where did you get them? And did you get them complete with rotors, or do you swap them out?

Did you guys get that frame brace thing? I called and asked and never received it, but others said it just showed up, and others said it didn't fit right or something.

The 17/14 is probably better for trails, but the proportions especially on the back look a little off. I think it needs a little larger (longer) rear fender.

I think it is a good bike seems to be holding up pretty well. I tend to pop-start as much as possible to lessen risk of breaking anything inside.

I parked the X4R and took the wheel's off and put them on,same bolt pattern(rotor's/sprocket)and swaped them over,had to do a little spacing/filing the brake caliper,but didn't take much.I think Pitster has a sale on those wheel's right now(clearout).Between the wheel sizes,they both have their pros's and con's,and i swap accordingly.
