Not sure about the silencer,, but I def like the rear fender nice and level and not pointed up. Can't understand the squint eyes they can blueprint every single thing in the motor but can't get the simplest thing to save their lives. hahaha and suspension they take the long way around to do the easest of designs already in use. I see kawi's and yamaha coming back stronger in the pit bike market.

ya think maybe more mud will get thrown into the exhaust can or is there something that you are gonna design to prevent that...not that it would be much of a problem

That is toooo funny "bad, bad, bad factory".... We just order parts like anyone else... Its not like anyone here in the US invented the KLX plastic design or KX 65 Uni-Trak either? Thats been out since the 80's...bob Last edited by MedinaMiniSX; 11-01-2009 at 04:48 PM. | |

My Mood: | Re: Medina TTR-110 style linkage bike... He could just roll the can over... the longer lip that is on the top would prevent way more mud and I don't think the angle would be wrong to super heat the fender either.

I like what you did with the rear fender, look's way better. After tweaking the bottom fender attachment's, did you have to cut the subframe to get the fender level?

| Re: Medina TTR-110 style linkage bike... A linkage bike doesn't have the shock mounted directly to the frame and swingarm. A lever/pivot system is used on one end so that the shock compression rate can be altered, typically so there is little movement a the start of the swingarm's travel, making it plush, and a LOT of movement as you get towards the end of the travel, making it stiffen up and resist bottoming better. Without a linkage, it's hard to get the right swingarm/shock geometry to achieve the same effect with compromising overall chassis geometry.

I asked the same thing a few days ago, just to learn I knew what it was all along and I'm sure you do too. It's the pivoting bits you see on a swingarm of a big bike where the rear shock mounts. |
