| Re: portin´ the head I've never used JBWeld but I can assure you that Devcon titanium putty is a mongrel to grind with an angle grinder ........LOL ........ That stuff is tough ......... I just looked it up and they state that if you're going to machine it ... do it before 24 hours otherwise it'll wear the machine tools ........ http://www.devcon.com/techinfo/124.pdf Last edited by Pat Farsole; 08-15-2007 at 10:43 AM. |

ok, but that would be pretty worthless to use for me, cause im going to test different portings wich means that i have to take the head of and re-port it til i find the best porting.....

| Re: portin´ the head
I am the guy who has ported the heads foe the 19+ hp 141cc engine. I have also done several Daytona 119cc 4-valve heads that give 19.5hp at 11500rpm. I have dynoed my Suzuki 1000 on the same dyno. It has a full exhaustsystem swap, thinner headgasket and a power commander. The Suzuki has 149 rwhp so the dyno is ok. Here is a link to some pictures of ported heads : -::Topplocksverkstans 4-Takt::- . Erland
