That is pathetically ugly IMO. These CR3s are much nicer.

Honestly, I liked it better before even with the purple. I'm not a big fan of black plastics, though. It's still really nice, though.

Be nice LOL, yea the chrome/purple went on my son's bike he has black rims and its just a better match (post some pics this weekend). For black Graphics and gold rims not to many choices.....could have gone with white ?

Re: Xtreme Cr3 - Nice Pit Bikes - Post Your Xtreme Here

My modified Xsport CR3 (same as Extreme I think), all done by myself a little by little.

The latest mod was to weld the top of the piston and create a dome that was 6mm high for higher compression, it worked a treat and was easily as quick as the 140's at the indoor track, even if it was popping at full chat as it was too weak....I forgot my jets, I am sure it coulda been quicker !

All in all, its cost me around 200 quid, which is what...350 or 400 dollars ??
Frame was 50 pounds, so was the engine, the rest I had lying around or got from the breakers.

R6 shock, modified swingarm (was an A frame type).
Plates made to bolt onto original frame mounting and lower subframe position.
10" scooter wheels.
RGV 250 front brake with Italjet Formula 50 master cylinder (unbelievable stopping power, one finger is all you need..ooer missus !).
Skimmed head, ported and filled for a D shaped inlet port.
Kent cam
stainless 38mm bore pipe (homemade) with homemade silencer (10" long) which is nice and quiet !
Chinky inner rotor.
Lightened STD spinner.
Polished cases.

Sorry for the scruffyness, it aint mint.

Looks a little high in this pic, but its not too bad in real life.

Re: Xtreme Cr3 - Nice Pit Bikes - Post Your Xtreme Here

Thanks, you have some of the nicest cr3's I have seen.

My brohter's girlfriend has the same cr3 she has had for 3 or 4 years now. Runs great, she has a hc piston, moto xxx graphics, ported head, and mikuni vm26 carb. She also added the close ratio-tranny. (it came stock in my bike)

I sold it to buy another 110. Now I have a stock drz110 and a modded klx110.

I have nothing against xtreme, but it was time to go back to japanese bikes for me.

Oh yeah, I would put some minibikesprings stiff fork springs in the forks and run 4.5 ounces of 15wt. oil in the forks.

I experimented with different combinations and I found that set-up works perfect for 150lbs and up riders.
