How'd the pic with leno come about? I bet he knew right what the bike was huh? He knows more about cars and bikes than I could dream to know.

That's my bike in the picture. He usually cruises around to the local riding spots with one of his trillion toys. Jay was interested "well, what do we have here?" and had a few questions zbout it. I offered a straight up trade for the 1926 supercharged Bugatti he was driving, but he didn't seem interested. I think it might have been a 1st sighting for him or maybe he has a pair in a crate in his collection and doesn't even remember... |

I would love to meet him, he seems like a cool guy. You should have asked if you could stop by and check out some of his bike since he got to check out yours. He sure has some cool 20's cars. SC'ed bugatti, Turbo Bentley. I would love to check out even a couple cars in his collection. What all did he ask? who makes it? What size motor? How many were made? did he stump you on any of the questions. ahaha.

My Mood: | Re: Lifan 141 in my ZB...up and running in about 6 hours BUY a catch tank!!! Real life lesson... went out for a ride in Malibu, my usual route, Topanga, Tuna, Mulholland, Las Flores. Nice sunny day, although a chilly 60 degrees First left corner I feel the back get a bit squirly, I figure, must be cold tires and/or the NSR rear shock and no mods done to the front. No worries, next right hander sticks well, I give it more... Next left, my tail light is pointing forward I come to a stop and find about 3/4" of my left rear tread covered in oil. it's all coming from the breather. I check the oil level and it's maybe 2mm above the full mark, maybe. I had just added a bit earlier and didn't bother to check it HOT! I ended up tipping the bike over to dump some oil out in the dirt on the side of the road until it read in the middle on the dipstick, but don't tell the tree huggers that! it will keep the dust down in the coming months. cleaned the tire off by doing a burnout in the dirt on the side and went on without an issue. either buy a catch tank if you're street riding or do not fill the oil to the full mark or especially past it, no matter how much over. I ran this engine right in the middle between full and low for over 1500 miles, never had this issue. As long as it's between low and full it's all good, at least with a china mill... |

I don't know why, but every time I hear that term "tree hugger" I laugh. Glad to hear you didn't go down bro. This is the second time I'm hearing this happen to us street guys. Just so happens, I just changed my oil yesterday and never gave that much thought. I'm glad you said something, cause you just reminded me to make the catch can a priority. |

this video name reminds of "on any given sunday" and holy freaking cow Jay Leno checking out your bike. glad your bike didn't get hurt, thats all i worry about is the bike one time i fell over on a Pw50 when taking off it was weird. OMG you were passed you can't just let them pass you......they have to die it's the only option.
