| Re: How I put ktm 65 triples on 70 that bike is sick nasty! So this will be a production bike from SSR correct? Or just a one off proto type you built for them? I want one.

For you lower budget guys, putting some "99" KTM65 forks on a 70 is a cake walk. Call BBR, order a stem that they use in there SP5's ($54.00), then have the lower KTM clamp machined out for a press fit of the new stem and your done. Total cost for us was under $400.00 and I gotta tell you, they dont seam too fade like I thought they would. Gotta love ebay. |

| Re: How I put ktm 65 triples on 70
I had a set of KTM65 marz forks and I installed them on a klx110. On the klx it made it look like a chopper. Compared the ktm65 forks againist a set of "real" marz forks and the KTM ones were about 3/4" longer. So if you got to run them you will need to do two possible things: 1-Run the forks higher in the clamps than you would with real marz forks. I did this and had the forks almost touching the bars. 2-Get a rear end that lifts the rear really tall. I had a twobros long travel at first and that does not raise the bike as high as a BBR set-up. 3-Send the forks to suspension guy and have him cut the forks down about an inch. 4-Get a set of "real" marz clamps as the offset is different than the KTM clamps. |

| Re: How I put ktm 65 triples on 70 that would be the correct way, or shorten the forks. You need to know ride height on the front with the previous setupl, and the offset of the triples. Then you can determine what is different and what needs to be changed. I wouldn't go jacking up the rear and messing with other parts of the bike.
