all the pumps that I have had off of the china engines do not have the oil pump shaft (driven off the cam chain gear) driving the pump.....They are the trans mounted clutch engines though...and they are driven directly off the crank gear on clutch side.....the gear below the oil slinger.....

I just checked an automatic 110 and it has the shaft driven off the cam chain...so I guess it depends on what china pump you have.....some are driven off the cam chain and some off the crank..... just trying to help
