Re: Post pics of NSR50 & YSR50's

Hi guys!!
This is my 1987 ysr pulled out of the shack a few months ago, after been stored for like 8 years.
It's got a TCR upper clamp, ZX-7 handlebars,DAYTONA tach, temp gauge DAYTONA fork caps and fairing bracket.

WP rear shock,JLF swing arm,DAYTONA sprockets,BMX footpegs, DAYTONA footpeg brackets and ZX-7 shifter and brake pedal.

Aluminum wheels,IRC racing slicks, TOOMEY pipe and silencer

AIRTECH upper and seat cowling, GUSTAFSON wind screen.

The engine has a DAYTONA bbk, four plate yz80 clutch and clutch cover and MIKUNI 24mm carb with KITACO manifold
.

If everything goes good I'll be racing her again, but first I gotta finish my stock ysr for the last M1GP YSR race.

I just picked it up today. It'll be a while before I can work on it and get updated pictures.

No need in Virginia. All 49cc or less bikes are street legal if the seat is 24" or more. No registration or inspection necessary. DMV never needs to see it or any paperwork for it.

Yep. Pretty much the easiest state to have a legal minibike in. As long as the cops think they know it's 49cc then you're all set.

Nice looking project you have there. I look forward to your build.

Will we be seeing that at Sandy Hook next season?

Re: Post pics of NSR50 & YSR50's

My parents are strictly against me racing. I can go to any track day or practice day but racing is not allowed. So if I can make it to a practice day I certainly will. I went to the practice day the first week of August this year and had a blast. That was with my 108cc Z50R. Hopefully I'll be able to get this bike fixed up and rideable soon.

I'm gonna have to say AL is. Valid Driver ID counts for tag, title, registration as long as 150cc or below, 200lbs or below, below 5hp (They gonna dyno, HA, nope!)

Back to pics!
