Re: Anyone have a BBR MM12P Update?

You can have them put in the V3 mounts so you can change motors. Someone (GT31) on here had them do that so he could swap out the 150 one day.

Re: Anyone have a BBR MM12P Update?

I have one and the only thing that has gone wrong was the rear brake needed to be bleed. It wasn't sealed good and leaked so all I did was flush it out and good as new. Bend my back sprocket but that was a rocks fault! It just jumped into the chain, I guess it wanted a ride. As for the price, you could not even come close to building this bike for this price. I ride for at least 3 hours a week on mine. I got over 20 hours on the bike in 3 weeks. When I first got it I rode for 5 days straight, 2-3 hours everyday. The kid loves to ride!

I live by the airport so we have a couple of empty blocks to ride in. So ShrankDaddy if you're ever up by Seatac Airport hit me up and come check out the bike.

Did the Daytona bring some power? And no problem with it?

Re: Anyone have a BBR MM12P Update?

Contrary to what many to will tell you or try and lead you to believe, the frame for this bike is not made in China. In fact, all the bikes that have been shipped thus far and all the bikes scheduled to built in a few weeks will have frames and swingarms that are 100% machined, welded and heat treated at our plant in Auburn, WA **USA**. Using **USA** aluminum. We are still working closely with our frame factory in Taiwan but prototypes and initial samples were not up to BBR standards. So, we opted to produce frames here rather then delay the bikes any more then they have been already. This fact and a few other unforeseen price increases to us are what forced us to have to bump the price by $300.00.

Still an absolute bargain @ $4299.

The Daytona 150’s have been unreal. Super reliable and unbelievable performance for the money. With the U-Flow and BBR spec jetting, the bikes are starting first or second kick out of the box and run like they’re fuel injected. There are performance cams ($79) and high compression pistons ($54) for those that want to get more out of it. Or, go for the 4V kit.

We are planning to produce a small number of V3 Frame kitted bikes. These will be built on full USA made V3 frame kits and include an BBR/Elka rear shock and BBR/Galfer Wave rotors along with a couple other upgrades.

Check the website for finer details.

Some of the OG's will remember the old days when the Xtreme CR107, at $2195, was such an amazing deal!!! I thought it was quite the steal and thought they were so well built. Man... people are getting spoiled.

I got to ride one of these bikes.... and have to give BBR mad props for a well built machine.
+1 from an OG who thought the same about the Xtreme 107, a great bike for the money at the time!! you're right, people are spoiled!!

My friend has one of these MM12s. The motor is very fast, and will probly be a bit much on smaller backyard tracks. A very nice bike, and well worth the $$$.

I think for that price you are very seriously getting a good deal. I have just over 4k into a mod klx that was built up buying used parts and probably still cant touch this bike in performance. I wish I had known about this bike being produced and would have gone that route instead. a question for BBR, do the frames come with some sort of title to be able to register the bikes? that's a major thing here in CA getting a green sticker to ride on public lands and parks.

You get an MSO (Manufactures Statement of Origin) - Off-Road/Competition Use Only
And an Invoice/Bill of Sale/Receipt for the purchase

99.9% sure you won't be able to Green Sticker one. Unless, you find some off-the-beaten-path DOL that lets it slide through.

So the price should go down when the frames are made in Taiwan then, correct?

Re: Anyone have a BBR MM12P Update?

I hope that they stay with the current production of the frame. If you want something done right, do it yourself. With that being said, I would rather pay the extra amount knowing that someone in Washington is doing the work rather than having a bad visual image of a 10 yr old with a welder! I'm not saying that BBR would do something like that (Child Labor) but the many jokes that we hear have burned unforgiving images in our heads that have deterred many of us from buying from overseas manufacturers.
