anybody know how you lock up your number for the races... is it just as simple as signing up for one race and then whatever number you pick that isn't already taken is yours right? plus what places sell the preprinted backrounds with the masters of mini logo on them, even a pic of what they look like would be cool also

Re: 2009 Masters of Mini Schedule, classes, everything!!!

For the 75cc super stock class, can you run a crf70 jug, head, intake, and carb on an xr50? With such a setup, can you run a kitaco carb rotator or an atc70 intake? Thanks in advance.

Super Stock (49-75cc) RULES:
Recommended Bikes: XR/CRF50/70, TT-R50, DRZ 70, and similar Chinese Machines
The following items must remain "Bone Stock": Engine cases, Engine head (No AFTERMARKET aluminum Cylinders allowed, no cylinder spacers allowed), Stock carburetor (re-jetting is allowed.), carburetor manifold, engine appearance (do not paint or coat cases), wheels/hubs (wheels must be original (stock) size, ie 10" for xr/crf 50 based bikes, 12" for crf/xr/drz 70 based bikes), and fuel tank. Stock cylinder can be bored (ONLY steel cylinders allowed) to obtain 0-75cc
Bikes can be modified by changing or adding the following parts: Upper triple clamps, handlebars, grips, brake cable, throttle cable, kill-switch, throttle assembly, sprockets, graphics, tires, piston, rings, exhaust system, clutch springs and plates, manual clutches allowed, CDI box, air filter, Frames, swing arms, fork springs, +1 fork legs, 70 style forks, rear shock, chain, sprockets, foot pegs/mounts, skid plates, rims and spokes, brakes, shifter and brake lever, seat covers and foam, plastic

Re: 2009 Masters of Mini Schedule, classes, everything!!!

I did read that, but I figured the motor parts could be the stock parts off any of the listed suggested bikes.
I find it hard to believe they would allow one rider to race an xr70 bored to 75cc, with the stock big valve head and 16/17mm carb, while another rider is basically stuck with a crap head, tiny carb, and possibly a jug that can't even be bored out to 72cc. I run an xr50 with all stock xr70 motor parts(jug, piston, head, intake, & carb) and I really don't feel like racing the modified class with it.
