Well, I figuered Id be the first to piss everyone off on here because I dont have the thousands to spend on an all BBR'ed out bike. What I do have, Is a mixed bike, with mostly china parts that has ran very well for me for almost two years now. And with the new pitster power plant in it, its a true beast. So what if it isnt all bbr, still looks, rides pretty damn good I must say. So please dont bash me too bad.... Pro Taper Bars Renthal Kevlar Grips Fastace AS-02 forks Fastace BS-66-RC 11" Shock Pitster Pro 155z crate engine 17 tooth front sprocket 37 tooth P.I.M.P. rear sprocket DID gold chain BBR Chain buffer Sikk MX perimeter frame(BBR Knock off) stripped of the clear coat and re-polished Tappered bearings KLX 110 big bore pipe cut down to fit frame/engine, and re-welded Innova 3.00 x 10 rear tire Starcross 12" front tire Pitster Pro wheels Grilled out number plate( thanks to the left over cycra plate front my big bike) Uni air filter Only ran on C-12 (VP race fuel) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by 723Racing; 11-05-2009 at 12:00 PM. |

Well, this was the only thred I came across with crf50 perimeter frames. I figured since my frame is a BBR copy maybe it wouldnt raise too much of a fuss. I know its a knock off and not nearly as good, but im still proud of it. Lot of time getting everything to work/fit right. Bought each and every part seperate. Built it from ground up.

My Mood: | Re: BBR Perimeter CRF50 bikes only! Lets see them! Im running the fastace bs-66-rc shock. I know the frame isnt BBR quality, but Ive broken wheels on it, and its lasted for almost two years now. The shock is pretty sweet fr the money I must say. I have 4 all day rides at our local motocross track since I re did the bike with this set up with 0 problems. Seems to be pretty solid. And the 155z hauls ass.

I hope I got the pictures attached. This is the roller Cory Bride sold a little while ago. It ended up in northeast wisconsin, and I was happy to get it. I was going to put one of my 88's in it, but the roller had a clutch lever on the handlebars. I didn't want to take it off, so I researched good clutches, not the cheapies. They were $750, and I still had the crappy 3 speed. Then I discoverd the Daytona 150, did a lot of searching for reviews, then pulled the plug for $1500. Didn't really want to sink a lot of money into it, but once you get started, you know the drill. So this thing is frigging great. Strong tourquey power, easy to ride, and it goes real good. Brent at BBR and their wealth of knowledge got everything to work. The space between the spars is limited, and you have to fit a coil, carb and filter and an exhauste pipe in pretty much the same area. BBR makes a carb intake that rotates infinitly, and without that this wouldn't work. Brent says they also make an intake the points out the front, ala KLX110. That would make access tons easier. Any questions on the project, let me know. I've learned a lot recently. |
