Re: Crf50 vs Xtreme 88

honda parts brake too, every part you can brake on a china bike can be broken on a honda. unless you weigh 60lbs a crf50 isnt meant for you. without loads of money the thing isnt going to last, unless you ride like a pussy plain and simple.

i dont have a china bike and ive never owned one but saying the bikes are shiit just cause they are from china is bs. they may not be the best but they arent all the worst(granted ther are some piles)

and now we now BBR gets parts made in china and puts them together here, so basically BBR has shiit china metal in their parts. how does that make you feel?

if you want the extreme buy the extreme, if you want the honda buy the honda. dont be pressured into getting what everyone else has just cause they are dicks about it. if you buy a bike and something breaks then you can replace it and get a little knowledge under your belt, part of the fun of these little things is getting to work on it. get what makes you happy, youre gonna have to replace parts regardless of which bike you get so whatever pleases you will be fine.

if hondas were that great you wouldnt need to replace anything, and yea its for a little kid but if they were as great as everyone says they are it wouldnt matter how big you are they would be able to handle whatever you throw at them..... ANNNNND they cant so ther, the engine cases brake, the motors seize, the frames rake, the swingarms bent, the spokes break, the rims warp, the tires pop. everything brakes on hondas too

thats my .27 cents lol

I've had full $10,000, perimeter framed pitbikes, 160's, 138's, 124's... and right now I am riding a SSR70 and a SSR B2. And I enjoy them.

My suggestion to the OP, if they're in the same price range, the CRF is worth more in the end, but they'll both be fun bikes.

Smile Xtreme 88

Obviously I have a biased opinion on something like this however why in the hell would you go buy a honda? You are going to buy a quality bike like an Xtreme put God knows how much money into it and then when or if you go to sell it get half of the money you have in it. Or simply go buy a "built" 88 put heavier fork oil, stiffer springs and a fox shock and ride the hell out of it! If you go to sell it get your money back out of it easily. I have sold over 500 yes 500 88's and the only problem I've had were on 3(three) we broke the primary drive gear, simply put heavy duty TB one on and we were back in business! The world record was on a stock XTREME 88!

Re: Crf50 vs Xtreme 88

Im not leaning towards either one but my first pitbike I ever had was an RCM 125 and I hated it. Everything always fell apart, but thats how I learned to work on bikes myself. After 3 RCM's we sold them and got Pitster Pros right when they came out. I actually loved the Pitster Pros. They were fast, rode good, and never broke. Then we couldnt afford to keep them so had to sell them and thats when I bought my first crf50. And I'd have to say even after all the work I put into my 1st 50, I would have liked the pitster better. Just my .02

If you put helium in the X88 tires, it can be jumped over 300', at least in the obviously thin Oklahoma air.
