Hey... Question about the # plates... the MoM background they give you for the front number plate.. im assuming its something like the AMA has for the supercross/motocross... where itll say like, "MoM" across the top or something... does anyone have a picture of what this looks like? I dont really want to have custom graphics made for this race and then have to put on a complete diff. front number plate... when i can have one made for me...

thanks guys,
see you all there... 14 hour trip for me from Chicago!

You have to run the provided front plate, so I wouldn't go nuts getting something custom done up unless you can skip having a number plate made when you order.

Midsize of the Month

Hey guys,

I wanted to let you know that there will be a fee to enter Mototown for all spectators. It will be $10 per person and kids 6 and under are admitted FREE.

I want you to know that I think this is fair because that place is not cheap to run, with the mortgage, heat, lights, etc. Also it costs money to keep the bathrooms clean, remove garbage – well you get the idea. We all pay a gate fee at every race track we go to so I hope this doesn’t discourage anyone from bringing a bunch of friends to cheer you on.

Now – what I was able to make sure of is this – No racers will pay a gate fee! I don’t think this will be the same for next year, but for this year I didn’t feel that it would be fair for you guys to get a “surprise tax” one week before the race when you were not planning on it.

Secondly – please see the attached “2 for $10” coupon I made up. This will allow your friends to get Two in for the same $10, so I hope that helps. I am hoping this makes it even more inviting to get a ton of people there. This coupon may be copied as often as you like – make sure everyone has a copy so they can save money.

There was also a question of friends coming in the pits – just due to safety and liability we will have to charge $5 for a pit pass if anyone wants to get in there – again we tried to make sure it wouldn’t break anyone’s bank account and this will basically pay for security to make sure no one gets hurt.

So make sure you bring friends with you to the finale! It will be way more fun with your own cheering section. Mototown is a HUGE place with tons of room for good viewing and they even put in bleachers so everyone will get a good seat. Lets pack the place so we can show everyone that the East Coast can hold its own!

Thanks – see you next Saturday!

davo

PS – get your pre reg forms in today to qualify for the extra practice – I need them by this weekend so stop slacking! Reg forms and FAQs attached as wel

Dude - so stoked you are making the haul and I completly respect what you are saying about the custom graphics

If you need numbers and want to have your personal number on the Masters of Mini front plate all you need to do is call PJ at Skorbordz at 800-352-5525 x 10. You can order the plate to fit whatever front plate you have - 50,110, ktm, etc. He will make your front plate (and sides if you want it) for a special low MoM rate. That way you can have your number for the event. If you do not have a MoM front plate at the event you will be assigned a number at registration (which wont match your sides) and it will be the size of a honda 50 plate.

call PJ and order what you want - trust me you will be stoked!

dude - if you show up from Chicago - you are a champion!

Midsize of the Month

Just wanted to through out some updates - I will try and keep this short and sweet

If you have not already done so – please send in your registration forms to me today – I will take forms if they are in the mail today or tomorrow at the absolute latest – but after that don’t bother because there is a chance they will not get to me in time before I leave for the venue next week. Anybody can sign up at the event next Saturday – without any penalties or additional costs – but they just wont get the extra practice and they will have to go through the normal registration line – so no worries – we will get everyone in this event!!! So far the response has been overwhelming and riders are coming from all over – not just New England – this is going to be all time!

Please mail to

Masters of Mini

PO Box 326

Clinton, CT

06413

Checks are to be made out to Transworld Media (see – I don’t even get the money J)

I have been getting forms in all this week – so thank you for those who have sent them in early – I hope the extra practice is a solid reward for you

Please make sure everyone coming has a copy of the 2 for $10 coupon to get in – just want to offer up any savings I can for everyone. The FAQs, Reg form and coupon have been included so you have everything you need

If you have pre registered you can order your own number plate (sign ups the day of will be assigned a number and we will provide the graphic for you). Call PJ at Skorbordz at 800-352-5525 x 10 to get your number – PJ will bring it to the event and you can get it at registration.

So far the tentative schedule is this (all subject to change)

Registration and doors open at 2:30pm Saturday Dec 9th

Pre registered riders ONLY special practice 3-3:45

Doors open to spectators 4pm (if spectators come with racers we will of course let you in early – no worries)

Registration closes 4:30

Normal practice for all racers 4:30-5:30

Racing starts at 6pm

Awards when racing is done – hopefully by 10/10:30

Don’t forget we will have awards for the Mototown event AND the series overall - so stick around

Also – as a bonus to all MoM racers – everyone who enters the Mototown race will be given a coupon for a 6 month subscription (this is included with your entry and is no additional cost) – so you can get the next 6 issues of Transworld Motocross Magazine – super cool of the mag to throw down for everyone. Like I said – I have lots of surprises going into this event – so get everyone you know and bring them!

Duncan Donuts is open at Mototown as is a sub shop – so there will be food on site for you to purchase if you get hungry. Also the grand opening of Mototown Accessories is going on next Saturday too and we will be Premiering the New Transworld DVD – 6IX – so get everyone to that for sure!

I look forward to seeing you next Saturday – as always email me if you have any questions

Thanks

davo

I'm going up next week to get some practice in, can't wait to ride on the track. I figure get a practice in during the week, get the special practice in for the pre reg on sat and the normal practice should be some good track time to finish the series strong. Can't wait to race you guys. Good luck to all!
