I am beggining to wonder,I had to relocate it just the other day. Wired tied it off and it looked a little squished with the ties. Wondering if it has internal problems now??

None of the above as I have those plus and the only other thing is the CDI unit itself.

Please explain how you go about this. Pic's would be great.

It has all stock coil and ignition harness. Only running the key with no kill switch. due to the BBR bars.

Was all ok until yesterday.

Unscrew the carb cap....lift the slider out....compress the spring and remove the cable from slider.....inside slider is a retaining clip holding the needle inplace....remove the reataing clip pull out the needle......on the needle is a very small E-clip.

To richen..lower the E-clip to bottom notch on needle.
To lean it.....raise E-clip to highest notch.
I am not saying this is your problem...but it sounds like it is running out of fuel.....or it has an electrical issue.

Re: Got an issue

Here is a list of what i have tried..

Pulled carb again and checked all jets and cleaned everything that you can.

Installed another CDI.

Installed another Coil.

Installed a complete new Harness.

Replaced all fuel in tank.

Installed another brand new plug.

Still no change.

What the hell can this be???

Between the last time it worked, and the first time it didn't work, what changed?

Re: Got an issue

All I did was install BBR SP-5 front end and a longer swinger and I Shock.

Went to test ride it and noticed that It wont take any more than half throttle.

Very Very Frustrating

I have run out of things to check or replace chasing this down.

Re: Got an issue

pop the flywheel off and clean it up and check for any foreign debris floating around your stator

Re: Got an issue

This motor is clean and has not been in the mud. I have the side cover off and there is nothing in there beside the parts that belong in there.
