a stock motor with a stock head you won't notice any difference with a head breather. save your five bucks and buy some oil for your bike instead.

honestly unless you really know what your doing i wouldnt mess with the valve covers if your heads still stock. you could get medal chips in your engine and possibly ruin your bike trust me a breather isnt gunna do anything for you and like the guy before you said you could even hurt your engine. id say start savin sum money for an 88 kit you really cant make a stock 50cc any more powerful than it already is

kid either listen to their wisdom or just go ahead and mess up ur bike. y do a ghetto pointless upgrade that jeoprdizes ur motor and is NOT gonna make it better. and if u need tools I bet atleast 3 people on ur street have the right one. just catch them with the garge door open and ask if htey can help, u might b suprised on how that works. |

and BTW, i am still clueless how to do this. I guess you drill a hole in the intake tappet (1/8in?) then you thread it with what looks like i can use a insert on a drill like a drill bit to thread it? Then take a brass tube that has the same thread and screw it in, then slide heat resistant hose over the exposed brass tube and voila?

First off if you want to do it the right way you need A.) 1/8'' pipe thread fitting with a hose end B.) the corresponding size tap for 1/8'' pipe and C.) the correct size drill bit for drilling out the hole. You can't just wing it because chances are it's gonna leak like crazy and you're gonna suck dirt into your motor. If you didn't know, pipe thread is thread that gradually flares kind of like \ / that. It's so the threads seal and don't leak. This means you can't thread the tap the whole way through because then your fitting will have to be screwed in too far before it gets tight and you might hit your valve tappet. This is the fitting I used It's a Russell fitting part # 663000

you can also make one out of an old inner tubes VALVE STEM. just cut it off the tube, remove the core and fit it into a tappet cover with a hole in it....then just run your hose off the fitting you just made. easy peasy lemon squeezy weezy..
