well if they knew when they produced the mini way back when I am sure they would have not have marketed it like this. The doccument is so vague you could get busted for selling spokes that were intended to used on a "childs" motorcycle. This is pretty dicey...

Right now we are having problems with Takegawa and we are not sure why. The new law just went in to effect today and this will band most of the parts that import from over-seas and we are not sure what is going to happen. It seems that the lead content of the aluminum that most of the motor parts are cast from is to high for the US government. They believe that children will chew on them and get lead poising from the heads, pistons, cylinders and motor cases. Now I know that my kids used a pacifier for chewing on not motor parts the law is the law right now and we are not sure what to do.

We should kn ow something in the next 10 days.

if you didnt notice...go to kawi website too and the 110, 65 arent for sale either...says currently unavailable

This is bull ****, 50's have been around forever, and havent harmed anyone from lead, whoever the treehugger who made this happened should be shot, i dont even see why its illegal, it cant harm oyu unless you digest the part..... dumb!

I am sure there will be some sort of amendemet or work around eventually but right now 50 parts may become difficult to come by.
