I have an VM26-665 and a VM24-4852, both are overflowing in a certain rev range, I think it is vibrations causing the overflow problem. I stops overflowing when i shortly close and open the petcock. (btw a 24 4852 is a VM24) Last edited by nielspbr; 11-09-2009 at 08:41 AM. |

My Mood: | Re: Mikuni help needed thats probably what im going to have to resort to..didnt want to because my needle doesnt look wore AT ALL and mechanic said it wasnt wore, other than trd saying the carb was made for bigger bikes, which makes sense, i have no clue

i think iv said this before but, iv seen float bowls crack. i have one i could take a picture of to show you...you will not even see the crack

My Mood: | Re: Mikuni help needed pud no doubt i believe you on that, i could see the castings getting hairline cracks, i just dont think its cracked because theres no gas anywhere on the outside of the bowl at all. Everything is dry except the gas coming out the overflow tube down by my skidplate
