Yes you can run XR/CRF 50 +1's and HD springs. Buying an exhaust would not be practical especially for what you're going after. It dosent make your stock motor and faster, just louder and less torque. Mine does seem do do slightly better in the higher RPM's, but nothing great. I only have a GYTR exhaust because I got it for only $100, but I will be going back to stock with a stinger soon. And bigger bars make a hell of a difference for me, but I am 6'3"...
