Good point Vince. I have two brand new carbs...one came with a Lifan 150 and one came with a GPX160. Both are stamped Mikuni. Both of them are actually chinese knockoffs, that look just like a Mikuni, but are not. They are also not actually 26mm but measure 24mm at the throat.

At least the Molkt carb is stamped Molkt or blank stamped, but it irks me to no end to see a chinese carb with a raised cast-in letters reading Mikuni and vendors knowingly selling it as a Mikuni.

A true mikuni does actually run much better than the Molkt or the Copy Mikuni's for everyone's information.
