I am now building this bike for my wife. As I have my ZB back. Im going to start pretty much stock for awhile until she learns how to ride it. That way if she wrecks it, it wont hurt as much as damaging a $600 exhaust.

Just rebuilt the motor, sandblasted it. The frame is starting to come back together with polishing and new decals. I just ordered some heidenaus street tires from a member. Cant wait to get on her and ride 8) More photos to come as she comes back together

Right out of storage

 I did the shifter shaft seal replacement trick where I drilled small holes, threaded drywall screws, and pulled it out. Replaced with fresh seal and seated with socket. It worked like a charm. All these years and I never thought doing it. This forum has paid off. Thanks Arlindsay1992!

We landed in LA and bought a Ford E150 econoline club wagon Van and drove the old Route 66 and I 40 across the states to Ohio to the swap, Things are tough in the states at the moment unemployment is high and we were surprised to learn you could buy a house and land outright for under $10,000 in Ohio.... anyway we got to the swap with only hours to spare, and it was system oveload. Bikes everywhere.. Bike racing, bike displays, and...... 35 acres of swap meet.. i actually got lost twice untill i took my gps to relocate sellers....

they had a special celerbration for the Honda CB750 as they are 40 years old this year.. Wow rare low vin unrestored originals..

i ended up buying a bunch of bikes could not help myself...

And a trailer to carry them too..
i did not buy any monkey bikes as they were getting really good prices and popular too...
Lotsa Daxes everywhere, I was surprised how popular they are over there, people riding them everywhere.. Bloody great..

Parts were expensive and in high demand alot going to Europe...

Wow What a great weekend... i highly recommend it if you get the chance.. We went back I 70 thru Colarado and down thru Utah back to LA unloaded all the stuff and headded off again And did a lap of Calif..
We had a wonderfull trip 7800 miles, 13 states. the van never missed a beat and was great value as it cost less to buy it than it would have to rent one. we paid $1200.00 for it spent another $600.00 on it tires, ac ,brakes, tune up etc and sold it for $1400.00 to a very happy buyer Cant beat that.... We had a really good trip and we are saving up for next time..

Sounds great!, soooooooo after meeting 5 hours away (we had some other trading to do) He tells me this engines got the shifter welded on and this engines locked up but has a good shift shaft.

I know on the MR50 you can change the shaft without splitting the cases but if I remember right I have to split the cases on the CT70?

Photos of my two friends who was kind enough to help me put together the bike. My friends in the photo is helping me figure out how to add the hyper pro steering damper at a new location since I am not happy with the side poisition that Over Racing have design for the steering damper.

I know the engine look a bit small now on the bike since it is only 88cc now. I am still waiting for the Takegawa dry clutch with 5 speed conversion to arrive sometime this week or next week. I am still choosing which oil cooler and oil catch tank to purchase and it will at least take me another months or two before I will be able to purchase the Takegawa Dohc 138cc kit, with the Yoshimura TMR-MJN 28 carb.

After all the engine parts, my plan is to add rear disk brake and maybe swap to 12 inch with Over Racing or Galespeed rims. I already bought a set of Takegawa upside down fork for the Honda Ape but will use it on this bike if I choose to go with 12 inch. Than maybe buy a Gorilla gas tank and new seat so I will be able to change it into a Gorilla look. After all that I want to finish all the little detail on the bike and chrome or polish the part that need to be clean up and repaint the bike into the style I want. I really hope to finish the bike in the next few months.

Will keep updating this thread as other parts start to arrive :D
