So I'm starting a build thread for my 1988 Yamaha YSR50. I haven't worked on it at all since I picked it up. I bought it for $500. It has carbon reeds, Toomey exhaust, oil pump removed, and a right spring kit. I plan to pretty it up and just basically tune up the motor to get it running good and reliably. After I finish both of those, I'll see what I want to do performance wise. It is street legal as a moped in Virginia so I plan to ride it to work/school etc. I've been buying up parts recently and pretty soon I'll start installing them and updating here.
As it sits now.
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
