Smile Sneak Preview 2009

Still in the researching stage... we are thoroughly testing a new bike. If it passes our testing standards and hard core riding, it will be available as a roller around $1388. You can use the new OGM YX 160cc motor with this roller, which we will offer you at time of purchase. You will have choice of front suspension Zoke Shiver clone or Fast Ace with DNM rear shock. CNC machined with box type air filter. Stay tuned, we are still testing so we don't have all of the answers, but feel free to PM us and we will try to get the answers for you. Pics will follow soon of our prototype in testing stages.

john

Re: Sneak Preview 2009

Due to the economy right now, i can not afford a new 3k bike or not even a 2k bike. The only option for me right now is the roller that is half the price of the bike. If this roller will be proven to last, i will take one!

Re: Sneak Preview 2009

Here is my two cents for what it is worth . . . . Between the Pitster/Medina battle the only two groups of people being hurt are the local dealers and customers. The reason I say this is the only way this sport is going to grow is with the help of local dealers being able to help people solve problems because it can't be done over the phone. I feel the customers are being hurt because they are buying products and have no where to turn and for the most part do not have the mechanical ability to solve their problems. They become frustrated and dump the bikes either on Ebay or PM forums.

i agree with john here. the dealer needs to have support from the manufacture. if not they get sick of taking care of issues that they don't get compensated for, otherwise screw the dealer network and just sell the bikes over mail order and supply phone support from your team. it leaves the small dealer stressed tring to keep his customer happy while digging into their own pockets. while i am not a dealer for any of these bikes i have worked on MANY of them on my own time to simply help out and grow the sport. i do it for the growth of the sport and to help others out, however there needs to come a time when dealers need to be supported or there won't be any significant growth seen.

Re: Sneak Preview 2009

A few ground rules need to be refreshed for some people I see.

1) Vendors cannot post in other vendor's threads in this area.
1a) If you've got a close tie to a particular vendor, consider yourself as falling under rule 1.
2) The vendor area is not the debate area. If you wanna compare and contrast, debate, poke fun, thread jack, cheerlead, whatever, don't do it here.

I'm going to clean this thread up ONCE, after that I'm handing out 30 day bans, capice?

Probably what Pitster ment by one of a kind was the shape of the plastic. But Im guessing they both use the TTR110s bolt pattern.

I think pitsters are similar to TTR's, but I think this one will use the same part as Yamaha OEM.

I believe it's an incredible, INCREDIBLY low price. But that's just my $0.02 . As far as what right they have to be selling these, who they copied or didn't copy, not even going into it. But I'd like to say if you think about it.... a complete bike (sans engine) with big bike style components for the price of a stock CRF50... is amazing.

Curious to see it when finished... to see what it will look like.
