106cc Fresh Build. Tested. Runs 100% - Sold

Offering up a 106cc fresh build, completed this weekend and tested to ensure it is all good.

52mm dragon racing crank
51mm domed piston, custom skirted to fit the crank.
e22 head with custom ground webcamshafts #3 grind
New engine idlers and cam chain
New 3-plate clutch conversion, manual transmission
3-speed
HD Clutch Springs,
HD Cam Springs
HV Oil Pump
Finned valve covers with vent
Cases are bored out to accept a 54mm cylinder if you like.

head ported...runs a 24mm-26mm carb
Comes with a lighting coil so you can run lights.

I put it together this weekend, and heated the oil up good and dropped it. I just went out and revved it up to seat the rings and it looks like everything went ok. It is slightly smoky, but it will go away once the rings are fully seated in. There is about 1/2 hour on the top end. Idles perfect and revs out clean. Ran it around on the street and it shifts perfect. The cases and transmission are from a Honda z50 and not chinese.

Running it with a stock xr50 wiring harness and a white brothers cdi. Mikuni TM24 (not included) carb.

SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!

I would think more or less the same as a tb108cc. Basically the same head, only this one is ported out. I am also running a more aggressive cam than the one offered with the TB kit.

Has hd clutch and hd cam springs in it too. Doesnt' leak a drop of oil. It has an oil take off on the clutch housing that you can run the oil cooler from.

Does not come with the intake manifold or carb. You do get the fancy oil dip stick with the temp on it though.

It is a 3 down shift pattern.

Also, this is not stock internal xr50 gearing...I am running the larger crank gear and smaller primary shaft gear for better use of 1st gear.

Some easy mods for this engine...

I had a guy ask me about why I used a 51mm piston and cylinder combination and figured I would let you all know the answer...it was sitting here brand new so that's what I decided to use. Remember, the dragon strokers are short rods, so you use the short rod type pistons.

Now, what mods can be made on the cheap? I would run a 54mm piston and matching cylinder, of which, you can buy without having to modify the skirts. Also, the cases are bored to accept a 54mm cylinder already.

That is the piston you need. You can get the cylinder just about anywhere. I like these guys:

This will make 119cc. Now...really hold on!
