A 88 kit is a 52MM cylinder with a stock crank.

I believe 54mm makes it a 95

Piston isnt takegawa. Picked up this kit off ebay a long while ago and dont see myself using it on anything anytime soon. Loosing some money but im sure somebody can put it to use.

Re: FS: New In Box 54mm Cylinder, Piston, Rings and Gaskets.

looks like its from dratv definitly quality stuff. It would work with a 49.5 crank or a 54mm crank.

49.5 stroke by 54 bore would equal a 114 "awesome set up its what i have on my scoot.

or 54 stroke by 54 bore would equal a 124 even better than a 114.

For 100 bucks thats a steal someone should pick this up.

Do you mind posting a pic of the piston out of the rapper??? I may want to scoop this.

thanks

Re: FS: New In Box 54mm Cylinder, Piston, Rings and Gaskets.

just to add to the info....the 69mm tall cylinder is used when also using the 54mm stroker crank.with smaller cranks, at TDC the piston will be down in the hole a ways, resulting in low compression. and that piston pictured is 54MM HI_COMPRESSION RACING_PISTON (12:1/or_more) 13MM_PIN TRX90_114CC (54/GBO) .......be sure to read the fitment info.

Were there's a will there's a way.. haha.

Id do some research if you want to build an engine with a 54mm bore size. Its somewhat involved. You have to make sure that you have a crank and head that will work correctly, as well as have the cases bored to fit the cylinder. Well worth it when done right.
