| For Sale: Kitaco 124SE
Location: Van Buren, Arkansas E-mail: motoxfmx27@hotmail.com I am wanting to sell my Kitaco 124SE engine. Other than it being a Kitaco 124SE, there is a Takegawa Special Clutch with 3 speed close ratio transmission, Kitaco Inner Rotor kit, and a genuine Mikuni VM26MM carburetor. There is maybe five (5) hours on a complete rebuild. The motor runs perfectly. No problems with this thing! If anyone is interested, I can get some more pictures your way. Ideally, I would like to see around $1,500 or best offer. If you have an offer, please e-mail or PM me. Thank you. ![]() Last edited by motoxfmx27; 07-29-2009 at 11:34 AM. |

Hope you have the oil drained or do you run it like that to reduce drag?

nice engine. not to many people know about kitaco 124's. more or less no one can really aford them brand new. these really do put out more power than most dohcs. the only difference is the dohcs put out more revs.....not power. its a known fact. why get a dohc that revs out at about 16-17k. when the power curve drops at 13k??? great engine

Get a 5 speed S-Touring Tranny from takegawa in it and I would be all over it! But sweet motor and good price. Suprised no offers.

Someone must need a nice, powerful motor. Other than weekly start ups to let the engine run, I've honestly put maybe 30 minutes on this motor since I first posted this thread in July. Don't have time to ride. Someone pick this up...it's a shame for it to be sitting.
