Hey V, how many people signed up so far? I am still waiting on the Medina rollers to come in to get my bike together. I doubt it will be in by then. I will come up to watch the race though.

Good deal. I have been laid off for awhile and didnt think I would be racing this year so didnt have the cash to renew this year. I could probly swing the entry fee though

do you guys know if there is a payout.. I know about 4 local pros that are getting into it with me and want to know... We will make sure there is a good turnout..

i live about 5 minutes from the track and i race there evry weekend and im going there this weekend and i will make sure to get more info

marshalltown is also racing pit bikes on the tt and oval. i think they are racing tonight and july 18th. maybe search for marshalltown speedway and see what comes up. cedar rapids is always a good turnout and with pit bikes there it will be even bigger. i think im going to try out my new ride that night. ill be the guy at the back or still stuck at the gate with a smile on my face.

Rules were posted
FAST 50 / Pit Bike Race Rules

$10 per rider.

Riders must be at least 14 years old to ride either of these classes.

FAST 50 Class
This class will be made up of bikes that have originated from a 50cc type of bike such as (CRF50, TTR50, ...etc.) There is no cc restriction.

Pit Bike Class
These bikes will be other non-50cc classification of bikes that are generally considered pit bikes. (Example...TTR125, CRF150...).

Race Order
These classes will race a heat race and a main event of 3 laps each.
These classes will be run together as a double drop gate. The winner of each class will receive a trophy.
