Spoke with Rudolf at 47 and was told his event in August would probably be cancelled. What has turnout been like

Re: Sho Me State Pitbike Series

Turnouts have averaged 40 or so. As many as 56. We just had our lowest turnout last week, only 23, due to a misunderstanding about whether AMA membership would be required for the race. Only about a third of our usual racers showed because very few of them are AMA members. It turned out AMA membership wasn't required even though HLR is an AMA track.

It is possible that we will not have the race August 16 at 47 due to some things we learned of this weekend. We are already working on an alternate track for that date.

The track is alot of fun and an awesome bunch of guys running it. It is truly a track built for the racers, by the racers, because these guys have made it most of the rds the series has had the last 2 yrs.

Re: Sho Me State Pitbike Series

A few questions about upcoming race at 47 -

Do they provide numbers, or should I get in advance? How do I know unused numbers?

Will Pitster LXT 17/14 wheels be in big bike class?

What has turn-out been like in Big bike open (12 yrs.+)?

Re: Sho Me State Pitbike Series

You provide the number of your choice on the bike. If it turns out there are number conflicts, the second conflicting number will have to be "x'ed" with electrical tape. You can see the numbers people have already been running by checking the results sheet on Sho Me State Pitbike Series . A 14" rear wheel is in the big bike class.

The Big Bike class has been one of the smaller classes this year.
